Pre-Capitol material, half of this album consists of Owens's very early recordings like "Sweethearts in Heaven" and "There Goes My Love" (covered later by Highway 101), which show his developing vocal style. It's a little more down-home than his later stuff. The other half consists of covers of Owens's later material by other artists.
