This is a cunning hybrid collection that slides one side from the Text of Festival collection and the other from Bring Me the Head of Yuri Gagarin to present a frustratingly disjointed glimpse into the "classic" Hawkwind era. The performances themselves are spirited enough. All three tracks on side one date from BBC radio sessions during 1970-1971, while side two catches the band at London's ~Wembley Arena, playing the most prestigious show of their career at the time. But the fact is, both performances are more-than-readily available in more complete form elsewhere. And that should be enough to warn you away from this shoddy little package
