While he had plenty of monster hits in the first half of the hits in the '70s, it only makes sense that legendary arena rocker Peter Frampton's music was best heard in a live setting, and Frampton Comes Alive! turned out the be the perfect vessel for that. Capturing the former Humble Pie frontman's relentless on-stage energy, the immensity of songs like "Baby I Love Your Way" and "Do You Feel Like We Do" carried over for the massive crowds of venues like the Winterland Ballroom. Whether it was the undeniable hooks of the former or the talk box use of the other, it was hard to deny these songs even as they were stripped of studio sheen, making it Frampton's lasting legacy for a reason.
