Burl Ives' Christmas Album may not be Burl Ives' definitive Christmas album, but it's quite strong nevertheless, thanks to warm, friendly performances of "Happy Birthday, Jesus," "It Came Upon a Midnight Clear," "Jingle Bells," "O Holy Night," "O Little Town of Bethlehem," and "Silent Night," as well as the charming children's tune "Santa Mouse."
