Junior Boys

It's All True

After tackling heartbreak and the drudgery of everyday life on their first two albums, Junior Boys are finally lending their electro-pop services to tried and true subjects like romance and partying, and the result is their best record yet. While tracks like "Playtime" find the Canadian duo toying with sensitive slow jams, they're not leaving the dancefloor behind as songs like "Banana Ripple" and "You'll Improve Me" make for perfect summer jams. It's All True finds Junior Boys keeping their sound as consistent as it's ever been, and given the electronic music's tendency to grow stale over time, it's become increasingly evident that this act's sound was built to last from the get-go.
