This 28-track collection of Mac Rebbenack's early New Orleans sessions for Johnny Vincent duplicates much of the material on the similarly compiled Medical School on Music Club. This set, however, brings an extra ten tracks to the mix, along with such gems as the long version of "Storm Warning" and Gene and Al's Spacemen's "Mercy." Long before he reinvented himself as Dr. John, these sides show that Rebbenack was a first-class session player.
