After the more thoughtful, laid back sound of 2009's Son of a Preacher Man, country songwriter, singer, producer, and Musik Mafia architect John Rich goes back to his wilder, harder rocking roots on 2010's Rich Rocks. The album's direction was revealed in the pre-release single “Country Done Come to Town,” that recalls the rowdy early singles of Rich's other unit Big & Rich. The video for the tune shows in lurid glory featured guest appearances from George Jones, Ted Nugent, Two-Foot Fred, Sebastian Bach and a host of scantily clad girls dancing in a kiddie pool filled with creamed corn. The record hosts influences from ZZ Top to Lynyrd Skynyrd to Hank Williams, Jr.
