Clorofila (aka Jorge Verdin) is one of the leaders of the Mexican nortec scene (mixing norteño music and techno), and Corridos Urbanos is a collaboration of sorts, bringing together a mix of regional musicians and styles. The norteño tradition can be clearly heard in tracks like "Discoteca Nacional," while other tracks (including "Babai") featuring the likes of Supina Bytol and Love and Rockets founder David J add to the innovation.
