A very suspect collection of mostly live Howlin' Wolf recordings from the '50s and '60s with some studio fare tossed in for grins. The performances are awesome, but the sound quality ranges from good to nearly awful. The price, though, makes this attractive for collectors and anyone infected with the Wolf virus -- you can never get enough anyway. This is recommended -- provided you go into this purchase (whose price is attractive) with your eyes and ears open.
