Starflyer 59's Jason Martin and his wife Julie Martin form the core of Bon Voyage, whose eponymous debut album is an engaging collection of stylish alternative pop. There are elements of modern dance music and guitar-pop, and it's all tied together by Martin's sultry voice and a solid sense of songcraft. A couple of songs fall flat, but on the whole, Bon Voyage is a winning debut.
