Big on balladry, I Can Do This finds the musical variety star in fine voice, hitting all of the big notes in “How Great Thou Art” and “Pie Jesu,” while lending the light country-pop of “Tender Mercies” and “World Without Walls” an effortless warmth worthy of her easy pop pedigree.
