AMG Review of Kidz Bop: Halloween Party

The first Kidz Bop Halloween collection since 2004’s Kidz Bop Halloween, Kidz Bop Halloween Party reprises some songs from the previous spooky set and adds some new ones. It’s not surprising or disappointing that tracks like “Scooby Doo, Where Are You?”, “Purple People Eater” and that ultimate staple of Halloween mixes, “Monster Mash” appear on both collections, but the addition of songs such as “Thriller,” “Disturbia” and “A Nightmare on My Street” give Kidz Bop Halloween Party more of a pop slant that may appeal to older kids. Only families full of diehard Halloween fans will need both this and Kidz Bop Halloween, but these songs make an equally appropriate and entertaining party soundtrack.
