Purple dinosaurs with people in them (alive) are as worthy of a Greatest Hits collection as any other performer. Barney may cause adults to expose veins in their foreheads that they didn't even know they had (especially upon hearing his signature "I Love You"), but children will love hearing all of their favorites in one sitting, something that cannot be said for their parents.
