This mid-priced collection is a great left-field addition to anyone's Del Shannon collection. Although 11 of its 16 tracks -- all the hits, of course -- are duplicated off of Rhino's best-of compilation, there are five more aboard ("Break Up," the scorching "Move It On Over," the original version of "I Go to Pieces" and the U.K.-only single of "I Can't Believe My Ears" and "I Wish I Wasn't Me Tonight") that brings some unavailable-elsewhere rarities to the table. This budget collection serves double duty, making a great entry-level best-of for the cash-strapped among us, as well as having some rare ones on tap to whet the appetite of the collectors.
