With this first album, Framix continues to explore the musical world he invented in his first EP, "Hawaiian space dub music from the far west," as he put it. His instrumental dub music is of the visual kind: images come to mind when listening to it, images of a cowboy movie (with all its musical clichés) that would take place on another planet, such as Mars (with all the science-fiction musical tricks). Harmonicas with electronic beats and a dub music bass -- those are the kind of tunes Framix composes on his computer once he has sampled sounds, mostly of instruments he played. A bit unhinged, but definitely relaxing.
