ZOEgirl got their name from the bible. Zoe means "life" -- not physical, but a spiritual godlike life. ZOEgirl is made up of three woman all in their early twenties: Alisa Girard, Kristin Swinford, and Chrissy Conway. ZOEgirl offers the listeners a sort of Spice Girl- meet-Jars of Clay feel. Their first self-titled CD offers an energetic mix of dance music along with an R&B sound but also with a strong sense of the bible in their words.
