Confesiones de Amor is comprised of 10 new, original songs written by Los Angeles Azules. All of the tunes were written in the vallenato style, and the music has a bright, danceable sound with strong tropical underpinnings. Some of the songs fall flat, but most of the album is quite enjoyable.
