Although Delete Yourself is a raucous, blustery advance of punk vigor -- full of pissed-off shouting and loud, angry guitars -- its backbone of gabber-core techno, sputtering, overdriven breakbeats, and sampled, scud-attack speed metal riffs means nailing the album down to any one style is an exercise in futility. Somewhat frail and ridiculous upon repeat listenings, the album is similar in tone perhaps to some late-'80s New York and Washington D.C. hardcore, lessening amazement that Atari Teenage Riot was given a contract by the Beastie Boys imprint Grand Royal in 1997.
