Recorded during the last stages of the band's reunion tour, the double-disc The Final Chapter was designed as Accept's last album. It's a respectable way to depart, if that's the case, because it finds the group bashing through staples like "Balls to the Wall," "Son of a Bitch," "London Leatherboys," "Restless and Wild," and "The Beast Inside." They occasionally show signs of wear (and that's why it's a good thing that this marks the end of their nearly 20-year career), but hardcore fans will be able to excuse those weaknesses and accept this as a nice testament to one of the heaviest German bands of the early '80s.
