Popular Mexican-born singer/actor Alejandro Fernández offered fans the best of both worlds with 2009's Dos Mundos, a two-disc set that includes Tradicion, an all-new collection of songs that stay true to the ranchera style that helped to build the foundation of his fan base, and Evolución, which relies on the glossy, straight-up Latin pop with elements of ballad, bolero, and mariachi that became his forte in the early 20th century. Both albums are also available separately.
