For her twenty-first studio album, Latin Grammy nominated, Puerto Rican singer/songwriter Ednita Nazario assembled a team of impressive composers and collaborators, including Rafael Esparza, Claudia Brant, Samo, Mark Portman and producers Tommy Torres, Sebastian Kyrs and Graeme Pleeth. The veteran Latin pop icon, long renowned for her sultry, emotive vocals and high energy live performances, split the recording sessions between London, Los Angeles, Miami and Nashville, but the stylish Soy hardly suffers from jet lag, rather it stands as one of her most cohesive efforts, allowing Nazario's innate abilities to shine through, infusing every rocker and every ballad with a winning combination of grace and grit.
