A fine return to form for the Return of the DJ series, which has had so many well-respected turntablists grace its previous installments, the fifth volume of this long-running series dishes up more of the same in its original premise: to make solid-sounding hip-hop compositions with the art of turntablism and scratching as the centerpiece. Fast and furious cuts abound with technique that will have even the most seasoned turntablists scratching their heads and leaving them with several hours of homework to try and recreate some of these tricks on their own decks. It's a 70-minute sample-heavy excursion into the future of turntablism and worth every penny of the asking price.
