The Bomb's second guided tour through the bedrooms of hip-hop's new experimental underground draws this time from an international pool of beat junkies, with tracks checking in from London, New York, Finland, Montreal, Norway, Detroit, and Paris, among others, with names both familiar and unknown -- Roc Raider, DJ EQ, Z-Trip, and Godfather, as well as Kid Koala, Tommy Tee, and Jimmie Jam. The follow-up to the Bomb's scorching debut double-LP, Return of the DJ, Vol. 2 features 16 tracks in all of consistently mindblowing (if not quite as innovative) instrumental turntable experiments.
