One of the few successful female banda/corrida artists, Mexican-American singer Jenni Rivera also incorporates a mixture of norteño, mariachi, and ranchero for her tenth studio album, simply titled Jenni. Produced by the likes of Camilo Blanes, Amerika Jimenez, and Dany Tomas, the 2008 release includes the hit single "Culpable o Inocente," a cover of the Lucia Mendez '80s hit, and the theme tune to the TV comedy show Chuper Amigos, which she also stars in.
