#Quills, Philip Kaufman's gripping biopic about the Marquis de Sade, features an appropriately thrilling, sardonic score by Academy Award-winning composer Stephen Warbeck. As with his work on Shakespeare in Love and Mrs. Brown, here Warbeck blends the feeling of the film's period -- in this case, late 18th century France -- with a modern sensibility that results in a compelling piece of film music.
