This live-recorded CD has nothing new. Milton Nascimento interprets with his usual competence and expressiveness some of his repertoire like the tender "A Noite Do Meu Bem"; Clube Da Esquina hits like "Paisagem Na Janela," "Nos Bailes Da Vida," and "Para Lennon E McCartney"; and activist/patriotic songs very much connected with that period (when, in the early '80s, Brazil had gotten rid of dictatorship and became again a democracy) like the schooler "Coração de Estudante," "Menestrel Das Alagoas" (dedicated to Teotônio Vilela, a politician who confronted the military regimen), and "Brasil," where he sings over an energetic drum solo. \t

If the album doesn't mark new directions in Nascimento's work, it represents good renditions for his re-harmonized hits with orchestra and guest singer Gal Costa.
