A truncated but very potent ten-song selection of Caesar's best work with the Caravans. Before going on as a solo artist, Caesar was the group's lead singer, and these are the performances that established her reputation on the gospel music circuit. It's full-blooded, energetic music with Shirley pouring her heart and soul into numbers like "I Feel Good," "Lord Do Something for Me," "Roll On," "Soul Salvation," and "Choose Ye This Day." The running time may be short on this one, but every track is a winner. This best-of makes for a marvelous introduction to the artist.
