Dark, noisy, and intense, the Wolfgang Press' debut, The Burden of Mules, remains among the group's most impenetrable efforts; tracks like "Lisa (The Passion)," "Prostitute" (in two parts), and "Complete and Utter" are so morose and vehement as to verge on self-parody.
