AMG Review of Women of Faith: Boundless Love

Women of Faith: Boundless Love is a collection of singers who took part in the conferences of the same name, performing the songs featured at those events. Entirely made up of praise songs, the collection has a relaxed feel about it that creates a nice balance with the passionate singing of the vocalists. Avoiding the blustery feel that many contemporary Christian artists fall victim to, these songs are quite simple and catchy, underscoring the emotional aspect of their faith, but emphasizing the lyrics because of it. The album is definitely not designed for everyone -- the flowing keyboards and delicate song structures will probably repel many -- but Women of Faith is an album that will appeal to most fans of CCM and easy listening music, the only demographics they are shooting for anyway. Fans of those genres should give this a listen, all others probably will not have an interest in this anyway.
