Like many of the other jazz titles in this series, this contains no recording information or personnel listings to give the listener even a tiny clue from where or when the material originates. It sounds like late-period Hawk, recorded in stereo, with a solid trio behind him on most tracks, blowing through a stack of standards like "Don't Blame Me," "The Man I Love," "Wrap Your Troubles in Dreams," and "I Only Have Eyes for You." It's some nice Hawk, but some information would've really helped this package.
