MOG Editorial Review
While we've come to expect gorgeous instrumentals and vocals from former Fleetwood Mac singer Lindsey Buckingham, Seeds We Sow makes for a remarkable solo album because of the way he goes about it this time. While the soothing, smooth vocals remain, Buckingham is unafraid to let his voice soar on songs like "In Our Own Time." Elsewhere, he embraces electronic elements on "Illumination" and the closest he'll come to a danceable anthem on "One Take." Buckingham's work with Fleetwood Mac had an undeniable influence on contemporary indie stars like Bon Iver, but this late in his career it's surprising that the singer-songwriter manages to incorporate the sounds of the 21st century so beautifully in his own songs on Seeds We Sow.
