All Music GuideThis is a nifty little duet collection from Johnny and June Carter Cash. Other than "Jackson," which was a smash single, most of the rest here will seem like new music to the more casual or uninitiated fan. These are some dynamite selections such as "Old Time Feeling," a romper stomper near rockabilly read on Ray Charles "What'd I Say," a great-horn drenched cover of Rodney Crowell's "One Way Rider," and six more. The live reading of "Darlin' Companion" is one of the true Cash family classics. The price is most certainly right, and given that Sony issues this CD, it is a sanctioned release with very good sound.
