Digitalis definitely lives up to its name. The two-piece U.K. ensemble isan provides a heavy layer of synth-ridden instrumentals with a backing array of drum machines. No heavy guitars, no angst-filled industrial metal, no campy sci-fi movie samples -- this is just smooth, minimal pop that leans heavily toward the digital aspect of soothing new wave.
