There's a reason this hysterical set won the Grammy for Best Spoken Comedy Album in 1999. Although Rock often covers relatable issues like family, childhood, and the divide between men and women, he also has an innate ability to push boundaries. Whether he's rifling on taxes or, more controversially, school shootings, Rock is unabashed in his attack, leveling the kind of one-two punches that are sure to split your sides. Recorded for a live HBO special, musical guests include Ol' Dirty Bastard, Biz Markie, Ice Cube, and Gerald Levert, while fellow comedians Horatio Sanz, Janeane Garafalo, and Wanda Sykes pop up as performers. Rock certainly sets the rules right: his wit is quick, the social commentary is scathing, and nothing is sacred. And, needless to say, there's no sex in the champagne room.
