This work reunites in one CD a selection from the double album La Argentinidad al Palo. With its pros and cons, the record is supposed to reflect with humor and sarcasm the Argentine way of being. Due to the profuse use of slang and local references, most nonnative listeners might find it hard to understand entirely. While there are some well-crafted songs like "La Soledad" or "Fisurar," this albums is not as strong as its predecessors. For example, the song "La Argentinidad al Palo" seems like a failed experiment that tried to encapsulate myths and misconceptions in Argentine history, just like Fito Páez did (with same results) in the bitter "La Casa Desaparecida" from the album Abre. For sure, fans will love this album as Bersuit aren't changing their successful formula.
