Cookin' was Jerry Reed's sixth RCA album, released in 1970 just prior to his first hit, "Amos Moses." While this disc doesn't include any hits, it is a good showcase for his stylistic dynamics, mixing country ("Just to Satisfy You"), crossover pop ("How Many Tomorrows"), and his guitar prowess (the instrumental "Gomyeyonyo"). All in all, Cookin' is a solid Jerry Reed disc.
