The sultry dulcet tones of Donny & Marie Osmond captivated the hearts of many a young lover during the '70s, when AM gold was all young couples in love needed to get by. This compilation of love songs, while not as thorough in capturing their finest hits, takes some of the siblings' most sugar-coated and dramatic moments and places them all on to one disc ideal for casual listeners or the Osmonds' most devoted fans. And while the Osmond singing group and Donny had many a hit in their respective ventures, none came even close to matching the soothing production, happy-go-lucky songwriting, and chart success that this brother-sister duo accomplished. It's an ideal supplement to the 20th Century Masters collection issued in 2002, and helps to solidify an ideal portrait of their work together.
