After the eventual breakup of Culture Club, Boy George went directly into the studio and dove into Sold, which was just as good as any Culture Club record and proved that he was a driving force behind the success of his former band. Starting off with two of his better-known solo releases, "Live My Life" and the reggae classic "Everything I Own," and working his way through his most successful solo release, the theme to the surreal movie #The Crying Game, Classic Masters ignores the low points of his solo efforts and cultivates his moments of genius during the '80s and '90s. And while in recent years he has focused on his DJ career and mix albums, this is an interesting supplemental document to a tumultuous and brilliant career.
