Missouri's Someone Still Loves You Boris Yeltsin pulled off a passable, if fun, debut in 2005/2006 with Broom, while the follow-up, Pershing, resembles the indie-hipster version of a college-guy jam band. They sing lyrics like "Yeah, you're right but you'll be dead right/Yeah, you look alright, but you're dead, right?" on "Dead Right," and rhyme "oceanographer" with "court stenographer," "news photographer," and "map cartographer" ("Oceanographer"), the latter of which actually is rather redundant. Although the melodies are hard to remember once the songs end, they can occasionally be catchy, as on "Think I Wanna Die" and "Glue Girls."
