Check your dictionary. You'll find this disc listed under "raw power." Though the band is here reduced to just guitarist/vocalist Dexter Romweber and drummer Crow, the sound is just as tough as ever. Few bands have so beautifully preserved the spirit of rock & roll, taking it from the '50s straight into the next century. The super-lo-fi production of this live recording may annoy some audiophiles, but it only heightens the charming, no-nonsense aesthetic of this band. Rev 'em up!
