This is to Peter Gabriel's recent Us release as Passion Sources was to Passion: Music from 'The Last Temptation of Christ'. Gabriel personally selected these artists whose music was influential in some way on the recording of Us, like Brian Eno, Daniel Lanois or Hossam Ramzy. Others range from the ethnic folk chants of the Dimitri Pokrovsky Ensemble to the R&B funk of The Meters, with world music from Turkey, Senegal, India, Kenya, Egypt and Morocco, making a rich and varied musical palette to dive into.
