One of the more unique electronic compilations, Spirit of Vampyros Lesbos is an album of remixes from the original soundtrack to Jess Franco's 1968 slasher B-film Vampyros Lesbos. There's a diverse cast of electro-techno experimentalists -- Two Lone Swordsmen, Rockers Hifi, Doctor Rockit, DJ Wally, Alec Empire, Witchman and DJ Hell -- and each seems genuinely inspired by the psychedelic lounge music of the original.
