Beepin & Boppin collects some of Louis Prima's finest recordings for Decca and Mercury between 1949 and 1954. Fun, energetic cuts like "Ai-Ai-Ai," "I Beeped When I Should Have Bopped" and "Yes We Have No Bananas" spotlight Prima's distinctive singing and trumpet playing, and make up the mainstay of this upbeat collection. Guest vocalist Keely Smith joins in on the fun on several tracks.
