Number 1's: '70s Pop features 18 of the decade's top hits embracing disco, soft rock, Motown, and arena rock. The highlights include "I Want You Back" by the Jackson 5, "Will It Go Round in Circles" by Billy Preston, "Love Will Keep Us Together" by Captain & Tennille. "Gypsies, Tramps & Thieves" by Cher, "Let's Get It On" by Marvin Gaye, and "Bennie & the Jets" by Elton John. While there are no surprises here, all of these tracks are the original recordings and have been remastered. Hip-O released two other volumes in the Number 1's series, '60s Pop and '60s Soul, that are of equally high quality.
