Why Beulah Has Conquered DCFC

Okay, so for people that know me well, I would do anything for Death Cab. I have everything of them, and they are my favorite band. I love We Have The Facts And We're Voting Yes, and for those who have heard it, you know how brilliant it is. HOWEVER, I recently got Beulah's older album "When Your Heartstrings Break", and I have to say, sorry Death Cab, I still love you whole-heartedly, but this is the greatest album I have ever bought/listened to. Yes, I must say, even greater than "We Have the Facts..." and "Transatlanticism" and even the amazing soundtrack "Stubbs the Zombie". I am not saying that I do not like Death Cab's albums, I am saying that "When Your Heartstrings Break" is absolutely breathtaking. The trumpet parts on all the songs are perfect and their songs are just, god I cannot get enough of them. DEFINATELY check this AMAZING album out, I am making copies/recommendations for everybody!!!! Death Cab is still my numero uno Yoko Ono.

    1234chainsaw says I can also warmly recommend The Coast Is Never Clear. But be careful, or you'll inevitably slide into checking out the whole Elephant 6 canon.

    aimlessinwonder says i have already heard "the coast is never clear" it's good but "heartstrings" is much better. i cannot get enough of "Gene Autry", however on "coast" because of the amazing trumpet solo at the end!!! It's just an amazing song!! but yes, beulah is awesome!
