Okay, so I have just realized the brilliance of Yo La Tengo. I have had their album And Then Nothing Turned Itself Inside-Out for a while now, and I never really took the time to listen to all of their songs completely. It was only just about 2 weeks ago that I was listening to "Madeline" followed by "The Last Days of Disco" that i thought to myself, woah, these guys are good. They are so mellow, yet powerful and their lyrics so simple yet so meaningful. I am dead serious, so I made my best friend listen to it and she could not agree more...And us agreeing on music is very rare...With the exception of Franz Ferdinand or The Postal Service or The Arcade Fire.
