Artist: Album: Spirit If Track:

As I said before, sorry for the two month break from MOG. Various things led me to leave but mostly that I couldn't update and post songs. I was furious because I want to share my love of these new tracks. Of course I am still in love with Feist, who I am going to see, as well as the Boss on monday. Fuck YEAH!! So this is Kevin Drew, member of extrordinary band's solo project (basically a BSS) album) with only one man singing.

Artist: Album: Saltbreakers Track: Pink Lights
So as of this moment, I am feeling a little behind my game. My wallet, as usual so close to being empty, accidently drifted into the red, and as I hung was getting my check card rejected, my sister was calling me about the new Tegan and Sarah. So I went home, because free food was calling as was the new album, The Con. I know i've only gave reviews or mentions to basically albums I consider "Stunners". Its a fucking great record, so adult and much more dark and much improved from their last two. I loved both of them, but then this is a different work- it's obviously Tegan and Sarah (except track 5) but it's definitly different-and awesome, and more complex. What's amazing about the record also is it's co-colaberaters. I am definitly one of those people who listens to a band a year, I suck them in and then regergitate. Occasionally I get to return, but not that much. So in order I will regergitate the bands of my High-school listening career. Freshman Year-Weezer Sophomore Year- AFI Junior Year- Led Zeppelin Senior Year- Death Cab So anybody seeing a repeating theme in terms of "The Con"? Hunter Bergen (AFI) is definitly playing bass through most of it, Jason McGeer (DCFC) is definitly drumming, Matt Sharp (Old-school Weezer) is definitly doing something crazy and Chris Walla is definintly all over the record including being behind the boards. It's like Tegan and Sarah have the exact same taste as me... Speaking of my taste, recently I've become enamored with a female named Laura Viers. While I've not listened to the majority of her albums, her approach is awesome, Pink Light is inspired, and here is a little video of her playing the triple door in seattle. While there is like a 2 minute interview before watch the video to get to the song. Her drummer, Tucker Martine is her producer and he also produced the Crane Wife. So here is "Pink Lights" by Laura Viers.

Also if anyone knows how to import songs on a Mac, I am having tones of trouble! Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I've just moved from PC to Mac so I'm kind of fluent at the moment. What's up?

Artist: Jenny Lewis and the Watson Twins Album: Rabbit Fur Coat Track:

So remember how I said that Jenny Lewis was being replaced by Leslie Feist- I lied. I was searching over records that I've stolen and came across Jenny's solo album. Country infused down to the core, she definitly wrote one of the best songs I've ever heard. I probably say that about a lot of stuff but this time, I hope I am not lying to myself. I hadn't listened to Jenny since I saw her at the Showbox, and then hadn't remembered how beautiful her voice is. It's probably one of the greatest female voices I've ever heard. Driving home, I just repeated this song over and over again. Basically the chorus almost brings tears to my eyes, not because of the deepness of the song, but because some of the notes just seem to work. But then again, the guitar (geetar) playing in Tenacious D made me laugh, so maybe these 14 notes can do anything...
