MOG

today i awoke to find some snow. its snowed up and down the country apparently, and it reminded me of my favourite snow day ever.

last year, around this time of february actually, i was walking home from a morning at university on what was a fairly normal day, weather wise. anyway as i reached the top of the street that i lived at the bottom of out of nowhere it just started snowing in mega volumes. i was so unprepared, wearing just a lightweight jacket and assumedly the scarf that i wear in any weather, but rather than being phased by the onslaught of cold i kinda embraced (god i bet that sounds cheesy), and instead of rushing home i took my time. at one point the song 'starship' by kanye west came on my ipod, and it just seemed like the most apt song in the world at that precise time, not necessarily lyrically, but the overall feel and atmosphere of the song just worked perfectly.

anyway, as i got further down the rode the unheard of happened - a woman smiled at me. i dont know what sort of smile it was, i dont mean it in that kind of sense, it was just nice.
