so boxer finally did leak last week (ignore my previous post on this subject) and damn, is it good! iv been away with my band for a couple of days, but as soon as i gave this a spin on my ipod (technically impossible i know, but you get my drift) on saturday morning i thought to myself "i need to mog about this record". its so good. its very much a follow up to alligator, but the band maintain a refreshing enough sound whilst remaining very much in the vain of alligator. the song 'slow show' is probably the most heartbreakingly beautiful song iv heard all year. its absolutely amazing and contains perhaps my favourite lyric of the year thus far in the line, "you know i dreamed about you for 29 years before i saw you." so yeah its a really nice album. cant wait to see them in may.
