Had to drop back in to give my best of the decade list. How has life been on Mog? The site looks a lot more commercial now than it did back in the day...

We're gettin' ready for the big launch in a few days..the streaming service to end all streaming sevices. I hope it works. A lot of the same old hands are around, but just as many aren't. I'm a junkie so I'll be here till they pry my cold, dead hands off the keyboard.

This is impressive, perhaps because I would be hard-pressed off the top of my head to name 50 albums that came out this decade. And I am not proud to be saying that....

good to "meet" you, Aclason.  to have your status as "smoking" after a 2 year layoff is quite impressive!  that has nothing at all to do with you, and Cody had what seems to be (in his inimitable style) a compliment.  it's just a part of MOG i still haven't figured out.

as always with these lists, there's a bunch of "i can't believe these are here" albums.  there are always a ton where the delete button would be quite handy, but in your case i'm quite impressed with many of your less expected choices and it's meant in a good way.  even though i'm with Ivy when it comes to trying to remember stuff, this list is a great flashback to some good disks.  to see things like Kasey Chambers and Shane Nicholson, Dan Hicks and his Hot Licks, Juana Molina and Flight of the Conchords make your top 50 makes it easy to skip some of the "B-sides"!

to quote another classic track by John Sebastian, "Welcome Back".
